    1. 90th Anniversary:  Don, Carol, Bob, Suzy, Amy, Robert, Heather, Justin, Kyle, Bong, Tina and Jean.  
      1. Food Distribution - Thur, 08/22/2024, 9-11:30am; set up at 9am.  Volunteers to be recruited.  This project is in cooperation with Waipahu CCC and Aloha Harvest.  
      2. Sat, 08/10, Ping - pong and board games at fellowship hall
      3. Fri, 08/16, 6pm - Movie Night
      4. Fri, 08/23, Banquet Anniversary
      5. Sun, 08/25, Sunday Service Celebration
    2. Children's Ministry:  Tina, Patti, Marie, Sharlene, Johanna.

    3. Deacon:  Ranny, Don and James P.
      1. We want to extend thank you to the years of service of Hugh Lowery and Bob Kent.  Both of them have stepped down from the deacon ministry. 
      2. Deacon Family List is updated as of June, 2024.  
      3. Deacon Family Ministry will be transitioned during our Aloha lunch starting September, 2024.

    6. Preschool:  Carol, Grace, Suzy, Amy, Ellen, James and Terri.   
      1. Began school year 2024-2025 with 62 students.

      1. MOTION:  To renew the ministry partnership with Chaplain Kyle McCool as ministry worker with emphasis on Young Adults Ministry. 
      2. MOTION:  Personnel recommends to the council to hire a secretary that will provide secretarial and ministry support of the church according to the job description posted.  The posting will be placed for the month of Sept, 2024. 
    8. Prop and Space: Ranny, Bob, Justin, David, Jack, Mike, Linda.

      5. Parsonage.
        1. Pastor removed the carpets in the bedroom and will convert it to hardwood original floors by sanding, restraining and sealing.   Thank you to Tina who has been doing most of the work. 
        2. Next project is to reseal the driveway and to remove the satellite dish on the roof.   
    9. Scholarship:  Edith, Edwina, Carol and Nancy. 
    10. Social Ministry:  Annie, Heidi, Marie, and Belinda.
      1. Freezer - thanks to the kindness of Justin Labra, one of his clients was giving away a freezer.   It is in good and working condition.  Justin will give more details. 
    11. Stewardship.  Bob, Howard, Jean, Amy, James H and Levi Sr.

      3. We recognize the faithfulness of our tellers:  Edith, Jean, Nancy, Sharlene, Debbie, Kathy, Amy , Hydie and Cara.   
      4. MOTION:  Stewardship recommends to the council to hire a bookkeeper that will manage the financial records, QuickBooks and produce financial reports for $500.00/month taken from line item reallocated # 222.
    12. Pastor
      1. Young Adults with Chaplain Kyle McCool welcomes the new families who recently joined and participated.  
        1. Young Adults update. 
        2. Water Wednesday resumes.  
      2. Ushering Ministry.   To welcome friends and guests who comes between 10:00 - 10:30am during the service. Their responsibilities are: 
        1. Welcome, provide materials and direct worshippers during Sunday.
        2. Offer a warm and welcome reception to all worshippers.
      3. Sunday School.
        1. Secretary.  We are looking for a substitute for Ms. Nancy.  She will train the next person until the end of the year. 
        2. Gideon Class will stop for now to help facilitate the new classes as noted below.  Kyle will help Men 2 class. 
        3. Ladies 2.  Beginning of a new Sunday school that will serve the younger women of the church.   Amy was approached to consider.   
        4. Men 2.  Transition James H class into serving the younger men of the church.  He will be assisted by Chaplain Kyle McCool.    
        5. Current classes:  Nursery, Children, Men 1, Men 2, Women 1, Women 2, Japanese and Filipino.
